Today is World Environment Day（世界环境日 shìjiè huánjìng rì）. Led by the United Nations Environment Programme, this day is an important platform for promoting progress on the environmental aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals, expressing humanity’s aspiration and pursuit of a better environment.

A. In the classroom
1. Set AC at 26℃ and turn off the AC before leaving
It’s so hot in summer so we need to turn on the air conditioner in class. Do you know that? the most energy-efficient temperature for air conditioners is 26 degrees.
When you leave the classroom after class, don’t forget to turn off the air conditioner and the lights and remove the garbage!

B. At School

Car exhaust can cause air pollution, so green travel is also a meaningful way to protect the environment. When coming to school, we can choose to take the subway, ride a bicycle or walk.
