Want to shop but don’t know how to use Taobao? These common questions can sometimes be a bit troublesome for foreigners living in China.
During today’s event, we provided a detailed introduction to each of the commonly used local lifestyle apps, helping international friends better adapt to life here and making their daily travel and shopping more convenient. Let’s take a look at the highlights from this fun and informative event!
3月8日周六春日和煦的阳光和闲适的午后，在Mandarin Inn开始了一场有趣生动又非常实用的活动，如何使用支付宝？滴滴打车？想要购物又不知道如何使用淘宝？这一系列的问题让生活在中国的外国友人觉得有些小麻烦。今天的这场活动，每一个在中国本地常用的APP生活软件，现场给大家做了详细的介绍，帮助国外的朋友们能更好地适应这里的生活，也让自己的日常出行更加便利。一起来看看这场有趣的活动分享吧。

Highlights from the App Workshop现场的精彩瞬间
Teacher Wang introduced the two most commonly used apps: Alipay and WeChat. She explained their similarities and differences in daily payment usage. Both Alipay and WeChat are suitable for everyone, but they differ in terms of transfer limits. Alipay allows for large-sum transactions, while WeChat has certain restrictions on payment amounts. Additionally, WeChat is more suitable for transfers between friends, whereas Alipay has no such limitation and can be used for shopping on the Taobao platform. In contrast, WeChat cannot be directly linked to Taobao for payments.
王老师向大家介绍现在最常用的两款软件：支付宝和微信。这两款APP软件的在日常支付使用上的一些相似和区别之处。支付宝和微信适用于任何人，但是区别在于转账金额上，支付宝允许支付大额度的金额，而微信支付额度有一定限制，同时微信更适合于认识的朋友之间相互转账，支付宝没有限制，可以在淘宝购物平台使用，微信不能接入淘宝直接支付。

Master Wang introduced the Alipay app to the participants, highlighting that it is one of the most commonly used and convenient apps in China. She provided a detailed, step-by-step explanation of its various functions beyond just payments. From hailing a taxi and ordering food delivery to moving services, watching movies, booking high-speed train and flight tickets—Alipay covers nearly every aspect of daily life, shopping, entertainment, and travel, making it incredibly useful.
During the session, she also gave hands-on guidance, teaching participants how to log in, navigate the app, and complete payment transactions.
王老师向参与者介绍了支付宝这款APP软件，它也是在中国地区最常用，使用最方便的软件之一。王老师详细地在现场向大家一一介绍了不仅仅支付，从打车，叫外卖，搬家，看电影，坐高铁买机票，从日常生活到购物娱乐以及出行旅游等都可以覆盖到，可以说非常好用。现场她还向大家手把手的教授怎么登录和使用这些软件，以及在支付时的使用操作。

Master Wang introduced the convenient and practical shared bike apps, which help promote eco-friendly travel while solving traffic congestion and the “last-mile” issue when commuting by subway.
During the session, she patiently and thoroughly explained how to scan and use shared bikes through both Alipay and WeChat, as well as the approximate cost of renting a bike. Additionally, she provided a detailed comparison of how different shared bike services operate within Alipay and WeChat.
王老师向大家介绍了非常便利又好用的“共享单车”APP软件的使用，它可以让我们满足绿色出行和解决交通拥堵和地铁出行“最后一公里”的问题。现场王老师耐心又仔细地向参与者分别介绍从“支付宝”和“微信”两个途径如何扫码使用，以及支付的大概金额。以及支付宝和微信针对不同共享单车的使用方法均一一做了介绍。
