M：你好！请先做一下自我介绍吧。
M: Hello! Could you please introduce yourself?
Ia：我叫ia(伊亚）俄罗斯人，在中国住了一年。我在Mandarin Inn 学习了4个月，正在学HSK4课程！
Ia: My name is Ia (伊亚), and I am Russian. I have been living in China for a year. I studied at Mandarin Inn for 4 months and am currently taking the HSK4 course.
M：你为什么来中国？
M: Why did you come to China?
Ia：我原来住在日本很长时间，但有一次因工作来上海出差3个月。我很喜欢上海的城市，所以决定搬来这里住。
Ia: I used to live in Japan for a long time, but I once came to Shanghai for a three-month business trip due to work. I really liked the city of Shanghai, so I decided to move here.
M：你认为外国人学习普通话有用吗？为什么？你为什么想学习普通话？
M： Do you think it is useful for foreigners to learn Mandarin? Why? And why you’d like to learn Mandarin?
Ia：中国有很长的历史，学中文可以更深入地了解中国文化，也能跟中国人更好地交流。
Ia: China has a long history, and learning Chinese allows for a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, as well as better communication with Chinese people.
M：作为一个好学生，你是怎么学习普通话的？能举个例子吗？你愿意分享一下你的学习技巧吗？（比如你如何在学习中文时鼓励自己？如何保持学习中文的兴趣？）
M：As a good student, how do you learn Mandarin?could you give an example？Would you like to share your tips?(like How you encourage yourself when you learn Chinese? How do you keep interest to learn Chinese?）
Ia：我不觉得自己是优秀的学生，我只是一般般的学生。但我会经常复习。我的老师很好，所以我会每天花10分钟看笔记。
Ia: I don’t consider myself an outstanding student; I’m just an average one. However, I make it a habit to review regularly. My teacher is excellent, so I spend ten minutes every day going over my notes.
M：你想谈谈你的老师吗？你喜欢他/她吗？老师的哪些行为会激励你学习普通话？
M: Would you like to talk something about your teacher, do you like him/her? And What kinds of teacher’s behavior will encourage you to learn Mandarin?
Ia：我的老师是Ann，她是一个很好的老师。她不仅教课本的内容，还会根据学生的情况来举例子。我们经常会聊最近的节日、新闻，别的生活的东西。我很高兴遇到她！
Ia: My teacher is Ann, and she is a wonderful teacher. She not only teaches the content from the textbooks but also uses examples based on the students’ situations. We often talk about recent festivals, news, and other aspects of life. I am very glad to have met her.
M：你很少请假，是什么让你坚持上课的？我们有很多在线资源，你用过吗？你觉得这些资源怎么样？
M: You seldom ask for leave, what encourage you are keeping doing classes ? and we have many online resources, have you used it, and how do you feel about it?
Ia：工作忙的时候我会休息，但如果没有特别的原因，我不会缺课。我知道老师很用心准备上课，她比我家住得更远，但还是来给我上课，所以我不能随便缺席。而且，我知道如果一周2次不学中文，我的中文就会不好，所以我努力每次上课都参加。
Ia: When work gets busy, I do take breaks, but I won’t miss class without a good reason. I know my teacher puts a lot of effort into preparing for the lessons. She lives farther away than I do, yet she still comes to teach me, so I can’t just skip class casually. Moreover, I know that if I don’t study Chinese twice a week, my Chinese will suffer, so I make an effort to attend every class.
M：我们每个月通常会举办一次工作坊，你觉得怎么样？你有什么建议吗？或者你对哪些主题感兴趣？
M: We are doing workshop normally once a month, how do you feel about it, and do you have any suggestion, or do you have any subject you are interested?
Ia：上次的麻将活动我没参加，但我很喜欢这样的交流。我希望可以经常组织关于中国文化、各种游戏的活动！
Ia: I didn’t participate in the last mahjong game, but I really enjoy such interactions. I hope we can frequently organize activities related to Chinese culture and various games!
M：在你的普通话学习过程中，有没有有趣的事情或日常生活中遇到的语言问题（尽量详细）？
M:Do you have any interesting thing during your Mandarin study or the problems （details should be good you meet in your daily life as the language to share to us.
Ia：“作”“走”“坐” “做”这几个字我一直记不住，现在有时候还会说错的🤣中文的发音很特别，只要一字的发音不对，意思就完全不一样，这一点很有趣！还是难。
Ia: I always have trouble remembering the characters “作,” “走,” “坐,” and “做,” and even now I sometimes use them incorrectly 🤣. Chinese pronunciation is very unique; if even one character’s pronunciation is off, the meaning can be completely different, which is quite interesting! But it’s also challenging!
M：最后，请说一句你最喜欢的中文句子，为什么？
M: Finally, please say a your favourite Chinese sentence, and why.
Ia: “没关系”做错了，也没关系。大家都会犯错，重要的是从错误中成长。
Ia：”It’s okay” even if you make a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, and what’s important is to grow from them.
