Similarly, there is \u201cMe More Say\u201d transliterated from \u201c\u68c9\u6bdb\u886b mi\u00e1nm\u00e1osh\u0101n<\/strong>\u201d referring to thermal top. In general we call them thermal underwear(\u4fdd\u6696\u5185\u8863<\/strong> b\u01ceonu\u01cen n\u00e8iy\u012b<\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMe More Cool\u201d is not originated in China?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinese pay attention to keeping legs warm since ancient time. Those tights, once as a symbol of noble status in Europe, were introduced into China and now become colorful winter warm leggings for Chinese people. <\/p>\n\n\n

If you stay in north part of China, then you may not be familiar with “Me More Cool”. Instead, “Chill Cool” is the word more commonly used in north with the same meaning. In Chinese, it is written as “\u79cb\u88e4 qi\u016bk\u00f9<\/strong>“, literally means “autumn pants” since when the weather turns cold in autumn, wearing only one pair of trousers is not enough to keep warm, so we want to add another layer fitting inside. Likewise, \u201c\u79cb\u8863 qi\u016by\u012b<\/strong>\u201d, or “autumn top” means thermal top, just the same thing as “Me More Say”. <\/p>\n\n\n

People say the fundamental reason for Chinese afraid of coldness is that we have been covered tightly for too long, which weaken our ability to adapt to the cold weather.
