10\u670820\u65e5\u665a\uff0cMandarin Inn\u4e3b\u529e\u4e86\u4e00\u573a\u4ee5\u201c\u8c08\u8bba\u4eba\u7269\u201d<\/strong>\u4e3a\u4e3b\u9898\u7684\u7ebf\u4e0a\u516c\u5f00\u8bfe\u6d3b\u52a8\uff0c\u672c\u6b21\u8bfe\u7a0b\u4e3b\u8bb2\u4eba\u662f\u5177\u6709\u4e30\u5bcc\u6c49\u8bed\u6559\u5b66\u7ecf\u9a8c\u7684Sophia\u8001\u5e08\u3002Sophia\u8001\u5e08\u4e3a\u524d\u6765\u542c\u8bfe\u7684\u5404\u4f4d\u5916\u56fd\u540c\u5b66\u8be6\u7ec6\u8bb2\u89e3\u4e86\u6c49\u8bed\u4e2d\u8be2\u95ee\u3001\u63cf\u8ff0\u548c\u6bd4\u8f83\u4eba\u7269\u7279\u5f81\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5<\/strong>\uff0c\u5e76\u5e26\u9886\u5927\u5bb6\u4f5c\u4e86\u76f8\u5e94\u7684\u7ec3\u4e60\u6d3b\u52a8\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the evening of October 20th, Mandarin Inn hosted an online open class with the theme of “I can talk about people”<\/strong>. The speaker of this class was Sophia, a teacher with rich experience in teaching Chinese. Teacher Sophia explained in detail the methods of asking, describing and comparing people’s characteristics in Chinese<\/strong> for foreign students who came to the lecture, and led everyone to do corresponding exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6765\u53c2\u52a0\u672c\u6b21\u516c\u5f00\u8bfe\u7684\u540c\u5b66\u6709Adam, Aly, Bhuvana, Monica, Sarah, \u7b49\u7b49\u3002\u5927\u5bb6\u5728\u6d3b\u52a8\u4e2d\u79ef\u6781\u5730\u4e0eSophia\u8001\u5e08\u4e92\u52a8\uff0c\u5b66\u4e60\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u7528\u8bcd\u3001\u77ed\u8bed\u548c\u53e5\u578b\u8868\u8fbe\uff0c\u4ea4\u6d41\u8ba8\u8bba\u5982\u4f55\u53bb\u63d0\u95ee\u4e0e\u63cf\u8ff0\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u7684\u6027\u683c\u3001\u8eab\u6750\u3001\u5916\u8c8c\u3001\u53d1\u578b\u7b49\u7279\u5f81<\/strong>\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adam, Aly, Bhuvana, Monica, Sarah and other students joined the online open class. In the class, Everyone actively interacted and discussed with Teacher Sophia during the activity, learning basic words, phrases and sentences, talking about how to ask and describe a person’s personality, figure, appearance, hairstyle and other characteristics.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u901a\u8fc7\u6e05\u6670\u7b80\u5355\u7684\u8bb2\u89e3\uff0cSophia\u8001\u5e08\u5c06\u8ba8\u8bba\u4e0e\u5404\u4f4d\u540c\u5b66\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u5b9e\u9645\u7d27\u5bc6\u5730\u7ed3\u5408\u4e86\u8d77\u6765\uff0c\u5f15\u5bfc\u540c\u5b66\u4eec\u7406\u89e3\u548c\u8bb0\u5fc6\u4e00\u4e9b\u56fa\u5b9a\u642d\u914d\u7684\u4f7f\u7528\u3002\u672c\u6b21\u516c\u5f00\u8bfe\u6d89\u53ca\u7684\u8bdd\u9898\u4e3b\u8981\u6709\uff1a\u5bf9\u6bd4\u4e0d\u540c\u4eba\u7684\u6027\u683c\u7279\u5f81\u3001\u63d0\u95ee\u4e0d\u540c\u4eba\u7684\u5916\u8c8c\u7279\u5f81\u3001\u63cf\u8ff0\u81ea\u5df1\u548c\u522b\u4eba\u7684\u5404\u79cd\u7279\u5f81\u3001\u4ecb\u7ecd\u4eba\u7269\u7684\u8eab\u9ad8\u3001\u6027\u522b\u3001\u5e74\u9f84\u3001\u5de5\u4f5c\u7b49\u57fa\u672c\u4fe1\u606f<\/strong>\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through a clear and simple explanation, Teacher Sophia closely combined the discussion with our real life, and guided us to remember some fixed collocations. The topics involved in the open class were about: comparing personality characteristics, asking questions about appearance characteristics, describing one’s own characteristics or those of others, and introducing basic information such as the height, gender, age and job of a person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, Teacher Sophia asked everyone about their personalities characteristics, and asked how to introduce our personalities characteristics to others. Teacher Sophia also displayed the pronunciation, meaning and use of some useful Chinese words, such as glasses, figure, appearance, height, hairstyle, extroversion, introversion, openness, talkativeness and personality, etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After learning the relevant vocabularies, Teacher Sophia introduced some common conversations in daily life, such as “How old are you” “How about her hairstyle” “How about his personality”. Then, Teacher Sophia led everyone to read the statements such as “He is handsome” “He has a lot of white beard” “He looks very young” “She wears a pair of glasses” “She is beautiful” “She is about 40 years old” “I am out-going” “I don’t like to talk more sometimes” and “my friends are talkative”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e92\u52a8\u548c\u7ec3\u4e60\u73af\u8282\uff0c\u540c\u5b66\u4eec\u5728Sophia\u8001\u5e08\u7684\u5e26\u9886\u4e0b\u8fdb\u884c\u4e86\u8bcd\u6c47\u548c\u56fe\u7247\u7684\u56fa\u5b9a\u642d\u914d\u8bad\u7ec3\u3001\u5b8c\u5584\u8865\u5145\u5bf9\u8bdd\u7a7a\u767d\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u53e3\u8bed\u4ea4\u9645\u7ec3\u4e60<\/strong>\u7b49\u3002\u5927\u5bb6\u4e3b\u52a8\u5730\u5c06\u81ea\u5df1\u5728\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u9047\u5230\u7684\u6c49\u8bed\u8868\u8fbe\u95ee\u9898\u4e0e\u8001\u5e08\u8fdb\u884c\u4e86\u4ea4\u6d41\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, in the interactive practice session, the students, under the guidance of Teacher Sophia, matched the collocation of Chinese vocabularies with some pictures, <\/strong>and filled the oral communication practice to complement the blank in the dialogue<\/strong>. Everyone took the initiative to communicate with Teacher Sophia about their own Chinese expression problems in day-to-day life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After doing the exercise, Teacher Sophia also focused on the Chinese vocabularies, including high-frequency adjectives such as brown, red, purple, black, gold, white, beautiful, handsome, young, beautiful and boring<\/strong>; high-frequency nouns such as short hair, long hair, straight hair<\/strong> and curly hair<\/strong>. In addition, Teacher Sophia illustrated the skills of phrases using such as “really beautiful”, “very smart”, “pretty talkative” and “a little introverted”<\/strong> and the meaning of “someone has long straight black hair”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
